Faiza is the Managing Partner at O’Connell Law. Her area of expertise is estate planning, and she is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
Faiza was born and raised in rural upstate New York. She graduated from University at Buffalo in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Legal Studies. Upon graduating from University at Buffalo, Faiza moved to Boston to attend New England Law | Boston. She graduated in 2009 earning her Juris Doctor degree.
Faiza began her legal career as an associate attorney for the Law Office of Lisa A. Modecker focused on the areas of family law, childcare and protection and immigration. She joined O’Connell Law in August 2014 as an associate attorney with a passion to
continue to work closely with families. This passion for supporting individuals and families has helped her flourish and grow professionally to where she is today.
For the past decade, Faiza has been focused on helping individuals and families arrange their affairs to ensure their assets are properly distributed upon death or incapacitation according to their wishes. She recognizes that this planning plays a crucial role in
clients being able to achieve long-term financial and personal goals while minimizing potential legal and tax complications. As a mother herself, Faiza has a special interest in supporting parents with their goals and plans in protecting their child’s financial future and ensuring their wishes and legacy get established.
Faiza currently resides in Newton with her husband, daughter, and fur baby. When she is not working, she dedicates her time to them. Her daughter keeps her busy, but when she can relax, she likes to read, catch up on shows and spend time with friends and family. You can also usually find her planning a trip because she loves to travel.
